Resultant, an Indianapolis tech firm, said Tuesday that it has acquired Irving-based Teknion Data Solutions, a data analytics company.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition adds approximately 60 employees to the 13-year-old Resultant team, bringing the firm’s full-time employee head count to 450. Thirty percent of the company’s employees work at the Indianapolis headquarters, according to Resultant CEO Mark Caswell.

Caswell said there are similarities in culture between the firms, which made it a great match. Resultant has expertise in three top cloud platforms: Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.

“It’s a testament to the employees” at Teknion, said Caswell, 42. “It’s also a testament to the clients that have trusted Teknion to help them over the years and what a great relationship they have.”

He expects the employee count to grow significantly in the D-FW region, he said.

For over 20 years, Teknion has provided data solutions to clients in fields such as health care, financial services, sports, transportation and logistics, education, insurance, utilities and energy, and marketing. Teknion has more than 150 clients.

In 2021, Resultant acquired Tempus Nova, a year after acquiring Advocate Solutions. This is its fourth and largest acquisition in three years.

Resultant will maintain Teknion’s Irving office, which will operate under the Resultant name.

Resultant also has operations in Fort Wayne, Ind.; Columbus, Ohio; Lansing, Mich.; Denver; and Atlanta.
