2022 MAC Tournament: Cleveland pep rallies, watch parties

Cleveland’s Tower City Center is hosting pep rallies and watch parties for the 2022 Mid-American Conference Tournaments.

CLEVELAND — As the Mid-American Conference Tournaments once again descend upon downtown Cleveland, Tower City Center is hosting a series of pep rallies and watch parties in celebration of the festivities.

From Wednesday, March 9, through the conclusion of the men’s and women’s tournaments at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on Saturday, March 12, Tower City Center will host pep rallies featuring pep bands and cheerleading/dance teams of the MAC. These pep rallies will begin on the first level of Tower City and make their way toward the Skylight Concourse.

Additionally, all games of the MAC Tournaments will be live-streamed in the Skylight Concourse, ensuring fans don’t miss a second of the action. Meanwhile, from 12 p.m. – 7 p.m. each day, Tower City Center will host the following fan-friendly festivities:

Tower City Pop-A-Shot Tournament

“Fans 18+ will have a chance to show off their moves and compete for prizes at the Tower City Pop-A-Shot Tournament. Shoot as many shots in 60-seconds and the highest scorers will be invited back at 6:30PM each day for the final round. The winner will receive a $500 Tower City gift card.”

Tower City x MAC Championship Bracket Zone

“Head to the Bracket Zone where you can witness your favorite teams advance on the life-size competition board.”

Tower City Family Zone

“Bring the whole family for face painting, balloon twisting, craft tables with pennant making, activity sheets and more!”

“Net Cut” Photo Opportunity

“Cutting down the basketball net after a triumphant win is a long-standing tradition in college basketball! Now, you can recreate the moment at Tower City with a ladder, hoop and scissors in front of a basketball court backdrop.”
